Golfing Tips

No matter how much you practice or play golf, everyone can use some pointers. There are many choices you have to make while golfing such as where to golf, what clubs to use and so on.

One decision you have to make is what kind of putter you should get. You should like the look of your putter, and also how it feels to you. Your putter should also have a clear target line on it too. You may have to test out several putters to find the one that best fits you. Try out the length, weight, angle, and grip size.

Another thing to do before starting your game is to warm up. Many people don’t think you have to warm up for golfing, but your swing will improve if you do. Some warm up techniques you can do are arm circles, overhead extensions, squats, lunges, and some stretches.

You also have to be mentally prepared to play the game. The most important tip is to focus on what you want to happen. It is not always easy to do because there are distractions, and other people watching you, but practice makes perfect. You should always practice how you play. You should also have a consistent pre-shot routine. For example basketball players do the same exact thing every time they shoot a free throw. It makes them consistent, and they have a better chance at making the basket. Golfers need to do the same thing. They need to do the same thing each time they start each hole.
