Tiger Woods is best known for his famous golfing career, but with his health on the line, will he be able to finish out the 2008 season? Many people have that question in mind when thinking about Tiger Woods injury. Do you think he’ll be able to play in the 2008 US PGA Championship that is coming in August? If so this would be his chance at becoming a three time winner! Not many people may know that Tiger Woods announced that he is finished for the 2008 season and won’t be coming back till next year on his website.
Unfortunately for Tiger, he has to have reconstructive surgery on his knee, because it is still bothering him and it is affecting a muscle in his left shoulder that causes him to be in pain when swinging. He says that the pain started to form when on his way back from New York. This means that he will definitely not be able to play in next months British Open, and will not have the chance to win his 3rd US PGA Championship in August.
Many fans may be disappointed this year when someone else wins it. Although many fans may be disappointed, not too many of the other golfers on the PGA tour are. They may feel bad for the injury, but knowing he’s not playing gives some kind of relief that he was the only competition, and now nothing can stop them from winning the PGA tour.
