The Professional Golfers Association season is now in full swing with the tournaments being played week after week. In some cases, the tournaments are filled with the best golfers in the game. In other cases they are not, but the tournaments and PGA highlights continue week after week.

Last week, the Masters took place. The Masters is one of four majors during the tour season. It was a clash of the old and new guard. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson put on a show of all shows as they were paired up on the fourth and last day; however, they were too far back to play the leaders. Angel Cabrera and Kenny Perry stole the show, battling it out for first. Kenny Perry is 48 years old and Angel Cabrera would be the first South American to win the Masters. After a battle royal and playoff holes, Angel Cabrera won the Masters.

Tiger Woods continues to recover from his knee surgery and is playing as well as ever. He is not fully invested in all the tour events yet, but he is playing typical Tiger golf when he is on the links. Next up for the tour is the Zurich Classic which takes place in New Orleans again this year. The top players are not participating, so it gives the rest of the field an opportunity to vie for the top spot and a good payday.

The tour is still early and many things will change. For instance, Tiger Woods is ranked sixth in the world for this year. Not many observers think he will end there by the time the tour is over.
